The WireTap Studio Editor Window
The editor displays the audio settings, duration and size of the recording with the current settings.
If WireTap Pro were set to not record a lossless original to the library when this recording was made, a small warning icon will appear to the right of the file description to indicated there is no lossless orginal of this recording for backup.

To determine the function of any particular button mouseover it to bring up the ToolTip for that button.
Waveform - use this button to view only the waveform.
Format - use this button to view the waveform and the file format information.
Tags - use this button to view the waveform and the Tags.
Play/Pause and Stop - use these buttons to control audio playback.
FX - use this button to access the Audio Effects Inspector.
Loop - use this button to turn looping on or off. With it on, audio will play back in a loop until the Stop button is clicked, with it off audio will play through once until Play is clicked again.
Scrub - use this button to turn scrubbing on or off. With it on audio will play as the playhead is dragged through the waveform, with it off audio will only play when the Play button is clicked.
Delete - use this button to delete selected portions of audio.
Silence - use this button to silence selected portions of audio.
Crop - use this button to delete all but the selected portion of audio.
New Marker - use this button to add a marker to the recording at the current location of the playhead.
Waveform Zoom - use this slider to zoom in (display shorter time segments in the waveform) and out (display longer time segments in the waveform).
